Implant Denistry

Dental implants are a permanent and effective solution for missing or extracted teeth. Unlike bridges and other forms of dental replacement, implants require no alteration to the existing tooth structure. Additionally, implants help maintain the look of your smile while preventing future tooth and bone loss.

If you’re suffering from missing teeth, contact Dr. Pawar to learn how implant dentistry can safeguard your dental health and appearance for years to come.

Dental Implant Procedures

When you visit us for dental implants, we will perform an exam and take X-rays of your teeth. After referring you to an appropriate expert specialist in the field for inserting a titanium, screw-like object into the gum, Dr Pawar will place a prosthetic tooth over the implant. After a few months, the implant and bone will fuse together.

Fixed, Implant Supported

With this treatment, the overdenture and bar are a one-piece framework secured using screws to implants placed into your upper and/or lower jaw. The overdenture is only removable by a Dental Clinician and is the most like natural teeth due to not having flanges and not resting on the gums.

Implant-Retained, Gum Supported

With this treatment, the overdenture rests directly on your gums and is retained by implants placed into your upper and/or lower jaw. The overdenture, which is removable, is secured to your implants through retentive attachments incorporated into the denture. Implant-retained tissue supported dentures are currently recognized as the minimum standard of care for fully edentulous patients.
